I just got another monitor, same model as my first one (samsung 213t), and I tried to set up my Nvidia fx 5200 card for dual view. Second question: how easy is it to switch the computer from landscape to portrait mode and back? The ideal would be it knows when the monitor switches and changes automatically, but I suppose that's too much to wish for. (Although the Mac knew when I plugged in a second monitor and setting up the extended desktop

Monitor size for multiple games?
I don't believe you can set VP to run in portrait mode. Plus, you'd have to somehow crop out all the graphics that are always on either side of the table. the table itself in a portrait mode I'd love to hear about it. Then if you could send the DMD and Backbox display to a second monitor would be even better.

It would be perfectly possible for the second monitor to start at -1024*768 (left) or even 0*-768 (above) or 0*768 (below) however many other possibilities are possible, even rotating the second monitor into portrait mode! Unless you have full control over how every machine that will run your application is set up

Macsbug on nonsmiley screen?
I have my Draw workspace set up over two monitors to keep the drawing window to a maximum. I would not consider going back to single monitor, ever. I also park my taskbar on the far right side of the secondary monitor. I used to run the pivot software on the samsung which allowed portrait mode.

My problem is that I have a Portrait pivoting monitor running in portrait mode, and it also requires the monitor it handles to be the smiley startup monitor. When Macsbug pops up, I still hope to find a way to set the Macsbug screen without changing the startup screen, but it may not be possible.

I'm planning to build a new system centered around dual 22" LCDs - one in landscape and one in portrait mode. I'm fairly decent on PCs in general, Once you "extend" your desktop onto the second monitor in CCC it will be active from that time forward. You will have to set the resolutions and rotations at that
